Terms of Use

Last updated 1 November 2026.

Who these terms are with

These terms cover this website and the Lodeline service. If your organization has signed an order form or master agreement with us, that agreement governs, and it prevails over these terms wherever they differ.

Accounts

Workspaces are opened by us for organizations that have signed an agreement. Your organization decides who is invited and with which role, and is responsible for what its members do in the workspace. Keep sign-in credentials and ingest keys private, and remove members who no longer need access.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for your organization's own AI coding spend.
  • Do not try to reach another workspace's data, or to get around access controls or rate limits.
  • Do not send source code, prompts or personal data beyond what the connectors collect.
  • Do not resell the service or use it to build a competing product.
  • Security research is welcome under the disclosure policy on the Security page.

Your data

Your organization owns the data it sends us. We process it to run the service, as described on the Privacy page and in the data processing terms of your agreement. We do not sell it or use it to train models.

Fees

The annual fee is set in your order form from the AI coding budget you declare. It does not change with the spend the service measures. Invoices are issued in USD and payable within 30 days.

Your coding tools

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot are provided by their own vendors under their own terms. Connecting them to Lodeline uses a write-only ingest key or a read-only token, and nothing we hold can change those tools.

Figures and estimates

Spend is measured from the usage data your tools report and priced at each vendor's published rates. Forecasts and savings estimates are projections. Your vendors' invoices are the authoritative amount owed to them.

Ending the service

Either side may end the service as your agreement allows. An owner can export everything as CSV or delete the workspace from Settings. A deleted workspace can be restored for 30 days, then everything is deleted; database backups can hold it for up to 14 more days.

Warranties and liability

Except as your agreement provides, the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, Lodeline, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited as set out in your agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes are heard in its courts, unless your agreement says otherwise.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change here does not alter a signed agreement.
